Do you remember your first computer? I had the Commodore VIC 20 back in the day if that counts!

I do recall the first serious machine I bought was an AST model and came with a whopping 1GB HD. Those drives had just come out and store rep was saying you will NEVER need that much storage!

Started out on a Tandy...worked on a Commodore. My first PC that I owned was a a Packard Bell hand me down 286 that I crammed too much RAM in. BBS...wow it has been a long time.

Commodore 64 was my first. Then I upgraded to a Tandy 1000. I still remember the nightmare installing a 30 meg RLL HD in the Tandy. Once I got the HD working I wondered what I would do with all that disk space.

talk about aging someone. Yes, I had a commodore 64 as well as the first apple computer when it came out. Schools at the time didnt even have one of their own.

Needless to say, taking apart computers started at a very early age
